The first main character is Will Treaty. He is usually very cheery and goes around making jokes, smiling, and laughing. But recently he has been very grim. He is very angry that his friend died. In the first chapter of the book he is looking for the people that killed his friend. He is a Ranger. Rangers are the most skilled fighters in the kingdom and he is one of the best.

The second main character is Madelyn, or Maddie. She is a princess in Araluen and the daughter of Queen Cassandra and King Horace, both Wills friends. She often sneaks into the woods around the castle to hunt with her sling. She is spoiled but often gets in trouble with her parents.

The third main character is Maddie's mother Cassandra. She is the Queen of Araluen. She was a lot like her daughter. Bomb 11/13

Spoiler Alert
Pages: 0-70
Prompt: List five major events in order from which happened first to last.
The book Bomb is about "the race to build - and steal - the world's most powerful bomb.
The first major event is the discovery that fission is discovered. This is when a neutron hits a uranium atom and splits the uranium atom in two. One atom breaking has enough force to make a grain of sand jump. Although this is small a single ounce of uranium contains 100,000,000,000,000,000,000 atoms. The next major event is when Albert Einstein writes a letter to Roosevelt, the president of the U.S. at the time. This is important because it causes the U.S. to begin researching the production of an atomic bomb.
The third major event is Pearl Harbor. After Pearl Harbor Robert Oppenheimer started to design the atomic bomb. It said earlier in the book that Oppenheimer would play a major role in the building of the atomic bomb. The fourth event is Oppenheimer is visited by a KGB agent. This is important because KGB agents were Russian spies trying to steal info about the atomic bomb. It also says that Oppenheimer's decision to not tell anyone would haunt him for the reset of his life.
The fifth major event is when Oppenheimer and Groves, the other leader of the bomb project chose a spot to use as their base. This is important because it is where all their experiments will be done.

Prompt: Summarize what you just read.
In the first part of what I read the Hardy Boys, Joe and Frank, are helping their dad on a case. They borrow his telescope to look for smugglers. They then set up on a cliff next to an old abandoned house. After looking for a few minutes the see a man getting into a boat. They watch for a minute but are interrupted.
The interruption is a scream coming from the old house. They go to investigate but find nothing. When they go to leave the house they discover that they are locked in they break down the door. They discover that the lenses on their telescopes had been stolen. They start driving home but their motorcycles break down and they discover that their tools were also stolen.
They then see two boats that appear to be involved in a chase. One boat throws a grenade onto the other boat and the driver is thrown into the water. The boys then save the man and make it back home. This is an amazing book and I recommend it to anyone.
